Our Programs

The most important growth and development in the brain happens by the age of five. Children who participate in high-quality early childhood education programs develop better language skills, score higher in school-readiness tests and have better social skills and fewer behavioral problems once they enter school.

Early Head STart

  • For children 0 to 3 years of age.

  • Our program uses Creative Curriculum.

  • 10 hours of service are provided

  • Teachers conduct at least two parent-teacher conferences and home visits during the school year

  • Our program is inclusive to children with disabilities and/or developmental delays.

  • Classroom sizes of no more than 8 children with 2 teachers.
     

school readiness

  • Designed to prepare children for school, particularly those from income-eligible families.

  • Intended to serve as a preventive measure for children at risk of future school failure.

head start

  • For children 3 to 5 years of age.

  • Our program uses High Scope.

  • Our program is inclusive to children with disabilities and/or developmental delays.

  • Two teachers in each classroom.

  • Classroom assessments of each child is conducted periodically throughout the program year
     

voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK)

  • Participating children must be 4 year of age on or before September 1.

  • Pre-K promotes a love of learning in children.

  • Pre-K enhances what a child learns at home and instills a love of life-long learning.

  • Pre-K prepares children to be ready for school.
